Ruby K. Keller

Ruby K. Keller, 80, of Mansfield, Illinois, formerly of Farmer City, Illinois, passed away at 9:58 P.M. Thursday, July 5, 2018, at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana, Illinois.
 
A graveside memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, July 10, 2018, at McCord Cemetery, Fullerton, Illinois, with Deacon Scott Whitehouse officiating. There will be no visitation. Memorials may be made to the Ruby K. Keller Memorial Fund, c/o First Mid-Illinois Bank & Trust, Mansfield, Illinois. Calvert-Belangee-Bruce Funeral Home, Farmer City, is assisting the family with arrangements. 
 
Ruby was born June 1, 1938, in Hardinsburg, Kentucky, a daughter of Owen and Edith Smith Priest. She married Norman Emmerson and later married Erwin Keller.
 
She is survived by her children, Terry (Teri) Emmerson of Farmer City, Penny Coit and Peggy Kemplin both of Mansfield; eight grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren.
 
Ruby was preceded in death by her parents; son, Tony Emmerson; daughter, Pamela Wisegarver; brothers, Robert and Leonard Priest; and sister, Genevieve Marlett.
 
She worked as a secretary at George H. Dunn, Inc. in Farmer City for many years. Ruby was a former member of the Farmer City American Legion Unit 55 Auxiliary.
