Carmella “Dolly” Gullone 99 of Clinton, Illinois passed away 8:30 PM July 4, 2018 at Manor Court, Clinton, Il.

 

Mass Of Christian Burial will be 11 AM, Saturday, July 7, 2018 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Clinton, IL with Rev. Fr. James Henning Celebrant. Visitation will be 10 – 11 AM, Saturday at the Church. Inurnment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Saddle Brook, New Jersey at a later date. Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, IL assisted the family with cremation rites.

 

Memorials may be directed to St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Clinton, IL or the Clinton Education Foundation for Read Across Clinton.

 

Carmella was born March 11, 1919 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania the daughter of Salvador “Sam” and Grace (Andolina) Bonitatibus. She married Paul Gullone January 12, 1941 in Avella, Pennsylvania. He passed away March 4, 1978.

 

Survivors include her children, Paulette Latrecchia, Palm Beach, FL; Patricia (Camillo) Sartie, Clinton, IL; Gary (Barbara) Gullone, Clinton, IL; Kenneth (Roseanne) Gullone, Wayne, NJ; 6 Grandchildren: Tom (Leslie) DiMartino, Las Vegas, NV; Joe (Kristen) Sartie, Clinton, IL; Matthew (Elizabeth) Gullone, Galena, IL; Andrew (Katherine) Gullone, Pittsburgh, PA; Brittany (fiancé, Christopher) Gullone, Philadelphia, PA; Nicole Gullone, Philadelphia, PA; 4 Great-grandchildren: Kyle DiMartino, Jenna Sartie, Vincent Gullone, and Cora Gullone.

 

Carmella was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Clinton, IL. Grandma G spent many days helping students at Webster School attending field trips. She also spent many hours helping run the concession stand for the Clinton High School and Jr. High School track meets.
