Tom C. Stoutenborough 64 of Maroa, Il. passed away 3:35 PM June 21, 2018 at Hickory Point Christian Village, Forsyth, Il.
 
Services will be 10:30 AM Monday, June 25, 2018 at the Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, Il. with Pastor Kenin Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Maroa Cemetery, Maroa, Il. Visitation will be 3 – 6 PM Sunday, June 24, 2018 at the funeral home. The family requests western attire to be worn.
 
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Junior Livestock Judging Fund, Lakeland Community College, Mattoon, Il.
 
Tom was born July 21, 1953 in Decatur, Il. the son of Charles G. and Barbara C. (Troy) Stoutenborough. He married Nancy Sharp August 18, 1973 in Bethany, Il. He later married Toni Hesse March 6, 2009 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
 
Survivors include his Wife, Toni Stoutenborough, Maroa, Il.; Children, Drew James (Lisa) Stoutenborough, Benton, WI; Kyle Anthony (Fiancé Amber Mortenson) Stoutenborough, Greenville, IA; Grandchildren, Tayva Stoutenborough; Beau Stoutenborough; Alyssa Pesante; Brother, James R. (Lisa) Stoutenborough, DeLand, Il.
 
Tom was preceded in death by his Parents and 1 Brother, Richard L. Stoutenborough.
 
Tom was a member of the American Angus Association. In 1969 He won the American Royal Judging Contest, Throughout his career he won the National Junior Judging Contest, Louisville, Ky, the Junior Collegiate Livestock Judging Contest, and the Illinois State Judging Contest – Melfink in 1974. He enjoyed cattle shows and sales. He was the Assistant Superintendent of the NAIL from 1976 – 2013. He worked with the University of Illinois Cooperative Extension Service for over 20 years. He was a swine nutritionist for Purina. He was a member of Pheasants Forever. He was an alderman for the city of Maroa from 2010 to 2014. He enjoyed hunting, golfing, rodeos, Cardinal Games and photography. Tom had attended 30 consecutive Indianapolis 500 races.
