Judith Ann Coogan, 75, of Mt. Pulaski passed away on Thursday, May 17, 2018 at Country Lane Memory Care in Riverton, IL.

 

Judith was born on December 14, 1942 in Bloomington, IL the daughter of Cecil and Dorothy (Goetsch) Mardis. She married James Henry "Jim Boy” Coogan on July 10, 1965 in Lincoln, IL. He survives in Mt. Pulaski.

Judith is also survived by her children, J.C. (Joyce) Coogan of Mt. Pulaski, and Teena (Doug) Lowery of Mt. Pulaski; her brother, Clarence Mardis of Mt. Pulaski; her grandchildren, Cady Lowery, Michael Lowery, and Claire Coogan.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her grandson, Caleb Coogan.

 

Services for Judith will be held at 11:00a.m. on Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Mt. Pulaski, IL, with Rev. Jonathan Buescher officiating. Visitation will take place two hours prior to the service (9:00-11:00a.m.) also at the funeral home. Burial will follow the services at Steenbergen Cemetery in Mt. Pulaski, IL. Memorial donations may be made in Judith’s name to Zion Lutheran School.
