Lucretia Anne “Susie” Walden 80 of Bloomington, IL passed away 4:27 A.M. May 11, 2018, at Heritage Health, El Paso, IL.

 

Graveside services will be 11 AM, Monday, May 14, 2018, at Mausoleum Park Cemetery, Clinton, IL with William Dean Walden officiating.  There will be no visitation.  Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, IL is in charge of arrangements.

 

Memorials may be directed to Heartline and Heart House, Eureka, IL.

 

Susie was born February 22, 1938, in DeLand, IL the daughter of Dean and Ruby Pauline (Dressback) Oakley. She married William Kent Walden July 23, 1955, in Sardis, MS. He passed away on April 12, 1979.

 

Survivors include her children, William Dean (Marina) Walden, Secor, Il.; Richard Eugene

(Lorraine) Walden, Peoria, Il.; Deanna Kay Martin, Pitkin, LA; 8 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren; 1 brother, Richard Oakley, Casa Grande, AZ

 

Susie was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers, and 2 sisters.

 

Susie worked for Growmark and retired from Snyder Agencies, Bloomington, IL.  She was an avid quilter.
