Betty Carolyn Cruse, 76, of Mansfield, passed away Monday, April 30, 2018, at home. She was surrounded by her spouse and family.

 

Betty was born on August 22, 1941, a daughter of Lewis and Edith Mae Raney. She married Marvin Cruse on May 17, 1958. 

 

She leaves behind her spouse and 5 children, Audie, Kim, Shelly, Karl, and Tina; 11 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; 3 sisters, Catherine Hobbs, Shirley Shelmadine and Carol Williams; 1 brother, James Raney (Connie); and many nieces and nephews.

 

She was preceded in death by 1 son, Mark, her parents and 5 brothers.

 

She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. She loved music. Betty especially liked to listen to her spouse sing. They held many “jam” sessions at their home.

 

A private celebration of life will be at a later date.
