Carol Ann “Aunt Sissy” Holloway, 84, of Heyworth, Illinois, passed away at 4:12 P.M., Friday, April 13, 2018, at Liberty Village , Clinton, Illinois. 

 

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, April 21, 2018, at The Chat N Chew Café, 104 East Main Street, Heyworth, Illinois. Memorial donations may be made to Heyworth Public Library District. 

 

Carol was born March 18, 1934, in Bloomington, Illinois, to James Chester and Marie Ione Graham Holt. She married Harvey Holloway Jr. in Heyworth, Illinois, in November of 1954.

 

She is survived by one sister, Toni (Dale Maxedon) Schmidgall and over forty loving nieces, nephews, great and great-great-nieces and nephews, whom all meant the world to her.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one sister, Patricia Dickerson.

 

Carol was a nurse at Dr. Cummings office in Heyworth for many years. She worked at and retired from Eureka-Williams. She enjoyed traveling and spending time in Florida. 

 

Carol was a loving sister, aunt and devoted friend who will be deeply missed.
