Norman G. Poppe, 79, of Le Roy, Illinois, passed away peacefully at 10:53 A.M., Monday, March 19, 2018, surrounded by his family at Le Roy Manor, Le Roy, Illinois.

 

Services will be held at a later date. Inurnment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Le Roy, Illinois, at a later date.

 

Calvert-Belangee-Bruce Funeral Home, Le Roy, Illinois, is in charge of arrangements.

 

Mr. Poppe was born July 4, 1938, in Colfax, Illinois, to Walter C. and Ermal E. Harmeson Poppe. He married Barbara A. Mullen Grauer on November 7, 1986, in Bloomington, Illinois. She survives in Le Roy, Illinois.

 

Norman is also survived by his one sister and three brothers, Wayne (Pat) Poppe of Bloomington, Illinois, Alice (Jim) Sieving of Benton, Arkansas, Bryce (Sue) Poppe of Heyworth, Illinois, and Jim (Jane) Poppe of Arrowsmith, Illinois.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Madelyn Stauffer of Saybrook, Illinois.
