James R. “Bob” McKee, 67, of Farmer City, Illinois, passed away at 11:39 A.M., Thursday, March 15, 2018, at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana, Illinois.

 

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, March 20, 2018, at Trinity Community Fellowship, Farmer City, Illinois with Pastor Dave Ashby officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M., Monday, March 19, 2018, at the church. Inurnment will be in Mansfield Cemetery, Mansfield, Illinois, at a later date.

 

Memorial contributions may be made to the BRHS Boosters.

 

Calvert-Belangee-Bruce Funeral Home, Farmer City, Illinois, is in charge of arrangements.

 

Mr. McKee was born September 3, 1950, in Decatur, Illinois, to Jim and Doris Jean Evans McKee. He married Sherrie Beno April 3, 1982, in Clinton, Illinois. She survives in Farmer City, Illinois.

 

Also surviving are three daughters, Julie (Scott) Raeuber of Morton, Illinois, Shae McKee of Streator, Illinois, and Erica (Kenny) Beasley of Mansfield, Illinois; ten grandchildren; two brothers, David Michael (Charlotte) McKee of Sullivan, Illinois, and Tom McKee of Missouri; two sisters, Beverly (George) Mullins of Decatur, Illinois, and Rie Burkett of Warrensburg, Illinois.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents.

 

Bob worked in the grocery business his entire life. He attended Trinity Community Fellowship, Farmer City, Illinois.
