Ruby A. Williams, 98, formerly of Vienna, IL passed away at 2:25 p.m. on March 11, 2018, at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital.

 

Ruby was born on October 30, 1919, in Vienna, IL; daughter of Andrew Jackson and Mary (Miller) Taylor.

 

She is survived by her children: Rosemary Hinrichs of Springfield, IL, Loren (Dorene) Williams of Springfield, IL, Joyce Jones of Lincoln, IL, and Jane Penrod of Buncombe, IL; twelve grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; ten great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings: Beulah Choate, Rosa Gordon, Carrol Taylor, Ralph Taylor, and Eugene Taylor.

 

There are no services for Ruby. Cremation rites have been accorded by Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln, IL. Memorials may be made in Ruby’s name to The Christian Village of Lincoln.
