Kathleen Ann Bruce, 61, of Lincoln, passed away on February 21, 2018, in her home.

 

Kathleen was born on October 17, 1956, in Lincoln, IL; daughter of William and Shirley (Baker) Kurtz, step-mother Alice Kurtz. She married Thomas Bruce in Lincoln, IL. He survives her in Lincoln.

 

Also surviving Kathleen are her sons: Shawn and Nick Baker; her step-children: Tommy (Mary) Bruce, Michael (Jodi) Bruce, Candice Bruce, Nancy (Tim) Pollon, Karen (Ed) Miller, and Jimmy Bruce; her siblings: Ellen Bard, Gene Schoth, Elizabeth Bertram, and Billy Kurtz. Additionally, she is survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. 

 

She was preceded in death by her parents.

 

Services for Kathleen will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 26, 2018, at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home, Lincoln with Ron Otto officiating. Visitation will take place one hour prior to services (10:00- 11:00 a.m.) on Monday, February 26, 2018, also at the funeral home. Burial will follow the services at New Union Cemetery in Lincoln. Memorial donations may be made in Kathleen’s name to her family.
