Grace Lee Quick 95 of Forsyth, IL passed away 11:50 AM February 18, 2018, at St. Anthony’s Memorial Hospital, Effingham, IL.

 

Services will be 12:30 PM, Thursday, February 22, 2018, at the Temple Baptist Church, Decatur, IL with Pastor James Bosler officiating. Burial will follow at Maroa Cemetery, Maroa, IL. Visitation will be 11 AM – 12:30 PM Thursday at the church. Calvert Funeral Home, Maroa, IL is in charge of arrangements.

 

Memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society.

 

Grace was born October 18, 1922, in Gainesville, Texas, the daughter of William Henry and Fannie Eddie (Boyd) Hunt. She married Edward William Quick June 30, 1956, in Ft. Worth, Texas. He passed away February 23, 2006.

 

Survivors include her children, Brenda (Lowell) Stephens, Bradenton, FL, and Dennis (Judy) Quick, Effingham, IL; 15 Grandchildren, 22 Great-Grandchildren, and 4 Great-Great-Grandchildren.

 

She was preceded in death by her Parents, Son, Michael Quick, Daughter, Sandra Wardingley, 5 Brothers and 2 Sisters.

 

Grace was a member of the Temple Baptist Church, Decatur, Il. She enjoyed puzzles and playing cards. Grace was a die-hard Cubs fan.
