Betty Jane Eaton, 90, of Lincoln, passed away Wednesday (Feb. 14, 2018) at Copper Creek, Lincoln.

 

Betty was born April 25, 1927, in Lincoln, the daughter of Michael and Amelia (Klask) Dutz. She married Owen “Red” Eaton on Aug. 27, 1949, in Lincoln. He preceded her in death on April 1, 1982.

 

Betty is survived by her children, Owen (Judy) Eaton and Teresa (Buster) Compton; her grandchildren, Shelley (Tony) Marsaglia, Owen (Teri) Eaton Jr., Sheryl Eaton, Kelly (Jake) Johnston, and Brandon (Kassi) Compton; and 15 great-grandchildren.

 

Betty was preceded in death by her parents; husband; special friend, Lloyd Heidbreder; sisters and brothers, Charlie Dutz, Helen French, Emma Robbins, Louise Terrey, Louie Dutz and Mickey Dutz.

 

Services for Betty will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home, Lincoln, with the Rev. Mark Thompson officiating. Visitation will take place one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial at Zion Cemetery will follow the service. Memorials may be made in Betty’s name to VFW Auxiliary or Alzheimer’s Association.
