Lois L. Martin, 94 of Kenney, IL passed away 9:00 A.M. February 7, 2018, at Manor Court, Clinton, IL. 

 

Graveside services will be1:30 P.M. Saturday, February 10, 2018, at Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Kenney, IL with Ernie Harvey, Jr. officiating. The family entrusted Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, IL with arrangements.

 

Memorials may be directed to the Kenney Civic League for the Children’s Playground Equipment Fund.

 

Lois was born February 2, 1924, in Chestnut, IL the daughter of George and Margaret (Heyn) Koenig. She married Winford D. “Pep” Martin March 26, 1944, in Decatur, IL. He passed away February 20, 2009.

 

Survivors include her son: John Martin, Forsyth, IL; grandson: Jeff (Michelle) Wade, Piper City, IL; 3 great-grandchildren: Brianna, Brittany, and Brody Wade; and a son-in-law: Dennis (Cathy) Wade, Decatur, IL.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter: Helen Ann Wade, brother: Raymond Koenig and sister: Helen Von Behren.

 

Lois was a member of the Kenney Christian Church.
