Donald B. Devore, 83, of Weldon, IL passed away 11:05 PM February 6, 2018, at Manor Court, Clinton, Il.

 

There will be no services. Private burial will be at Lisenby Cemetery, Lane, Il. at a later date. Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, IL assisted the family with cremation rites.

 

Donald was born December 2, 1934, in Clinton, IL the son of Carl V. and Eleanor (Humphrey) Devore. He married Pearl L. Dubson January 24, 1953, in Bible Grove, Il. She passed away May 27, 2010.

 

Survivors include his children: Donna Hammer, Clinton, IL and Ron Devore, Clinton, IL; 3 grandsons: Don Hammer, Doug Hammer, and Tanner Devore; 5 great-grandchildren; 1 Great-Great-Granddaughter; siblings: Pearl (Bud) Moore, Mobile, AL; Helen (John) Robeson, Clinton, IL; Johnnie Devore, Weldon, IL; and Jimmy (Sharon) Devore, Clinton, IL.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents and 1 brother, C.V. “Bub” Devore Jr.

 

Donald was a life-long Millwright and welder. He loved stock car racing.
