James "Jamie” Daniels Jr., 44, passed away at 6:17 p.m. on February 5, 2018, at Passavant Area Hospital in Jacksonville, IL.

 

Jamie was born on August 16, 1973, in Lincoln, IL; son of James and Cheryl (Lowe) Daniels. They survive him. He married Angie Scheurer in March 2006. She survives him.

 

Also surviving Jamie are his children: Allaniee Merritt, Jonathan (Charissa) Ingram, Katherine (Alex) Vieregge, James Daniels III, Gage Daniels, Jake Scheurer, and Chelsea Scheurer; his siblings: Jessica (David"Tubby”) Sullivan, Joseph (Jamie) Daniels, and Jerry (Elizabeth) Daniels; one granddaughter: Layla Diberardino.

 

Jamie loved music, especially playing drums and guitar. He also enjoyed spending time fishing and spending time with his children.

 

Services for Jamie will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 9, 2018, at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln, IL with Ron Otto officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00-11:00 a.m. prior to service also at the funeral home. Burial at Pleasant Valley Cemetery will follow the service. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
