James G. "Red” Russell passed away at 5:32 a.m. Wednesday, January 10, 2018, at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield, IL.

 

Red was born on October 28, 1945, in Lincoln, IL; son of Grover B. and Agnes (Flinn) Russell Jr. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother: Robert E. Russell.

 

Red is survived by his cousins.

 

He was a member of Living Water Church in Springfield, IL.

 

Graveside services for Red will be 12 noon Monday, January 15, 2018, at Carlyle Cemetery in Lake Fork, IL with Dr. Robert Armstrong officiating. Memorials may be made in Red’s name to the Logan County Paramedics in Lincoln, IL.
