Oliver Glenn Wilson 92 of Luther Oaks, Bloomington, IL passed away 2:37 AM January 11, 2018, at Heartland Healthcare, Normal, IL.

 

Visitation will be 10 – 11 AM, Saturday, January 13, 2018, at the Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, IL. There will be no services. Graveside services will be at Memorial Park Cemetery, Clinton, IL at a later date. 

 

Memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society.

 

Glenn was born November 20, 1925, in Clinton, IL the son of Oliver Asa and Anna Lotus (Walden) Wilson. He married Opal E. Clary August 27, 1946, in Clinton, IL. She passed away February 14, 2013.

 

Survivors include his son, Gary D. (Susan) Wilson, Bloomington, IL; 5 Grandchildren, 4 Great-Grandchildren; Daughter-in-Law, Kathy Wilson, Clinton, IL.

 

Glenn was preceded in death by his parents, 1 Son, Steven Glenn Wilson, 2 sisters and 1 brother.

 

Glenn farmed most of his life in Wilson Twp., DeWitt Co., IL and served his country in the US Navy during WW II. He was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church, Bloomington, IL. He was a member of the Bloomington Country Club, Bloomington Consistory, and York Rites.
