Wilma Auer, 84, passed away at 6:54 p.m. on January 4, 2018, at Advocate Bromenn Hospital in Normal, IL.

 

She was born on February 5, 1933, in Prairie Creek, IL; daughter of William Richard Herman and Gesina Johanna (Bartmann) Heinzel. She married Carroll Auer on December 31, 1950, and later they were divorced.

 

Wilma is survived by her children: Doug (Mary Ann) Auer of Metamora, IL and Deborah (Claude) Rorabaugh of Washougal, WA; her sisters; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents and her ex-husband.

 

Wilma was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Lincoln, IL.

 

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 10, 2018, at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln, IL with Rev. Mark Thompson officiating. There will be no visitation. Memorials may be made in Wilma’s name to Zion Lutheran Church or School.
