Daniel E. ?Danny” McDavitt, 78, of Farmer City, Illinois, passed away at 2:27 A.M., Saturday, December 23, 2017, at the Farmer City Rehab & Health Care Center, Farmer City, Illinois.

His Memorial Service will be 10:00 A.M., Friday, December 29, 2017, at Calvert-Belangee-Bruce Funeral Home, Farmer City, Illinois, with Pastor Dave Ashby officiating. Inurnment will follow in DeLand Cemetery, DeLand, Illinois. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Vicki McDavitt.

Danny was born September 22, 1939, in Lincoln, Illinois, a son of Donald Eugene and Gladys Margaret Schmall McDavitt. He married Vicki L. Wills on November 15, 1975, in Farmer City, Illinois. She survives in Farmer City, Illinois. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Judith Ann Weaver.

Danny worked at the Farmer City I.G.A. He was a member of the First Christian Church, Farmer City, Illinois and was now attending Trinity Community Fellowship in Farmer City, Illinois. He enjoyed the outdoors, eating out and traveling.
