Doris I. Anderson, 84, of LeRoy, Illinois, passed away at 6:45 A.M., Monday, December 18, 2017, at Liberty Village, LeRoy, Illinois.

 

Her visitation will be from 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M., Thursday, December 21, 2017, at Calvert-Belangee-Bruce Funeral Home, Farmer City, Illinois. The funeral will follow at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor Steve Anderson officiating. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Farmer City, Illinois.

 

Doris was born January 5, 1933, in Santa Anna Township, DeWitt County, Illinois, a daughter of Charles H. Bosserman and Sylvia T. Van Note. She married Ivan G. Anderson on April 20, 1955, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He survives in LeRoy, Illinois.

 

She is also survived by her daughter, Janet (Bill) Swier of Bloomington, Illinois; son, Ivan G. (Jerry) Anderson II of Bloomington, Illinois; two grandsons, Caleb Swier of Bloomington, Illinois and Jacob Swier of Bloomington, Illinois; three granddogs, Dora, Davey, and Kane. Doris was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Marie Bosserman; Dorothy Bosserman; Ruth Bosserman; Helen Overmyer; Anna Bosserman; and Charles H. Bosserman Jr.
