Joel Clifton Edwards, III 65 of Clinton, IL passed away 12:55 PM December 15, 2017, at his family residence, Clinton, IL.

 

No services are planned at this time. The family entrusted Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, IL with cremation rites.

 

Memorials may be directed to the First Baptist Church, Clinton, IL.

 

Joel was born September 26, 1952, in Clinton, IL the son of Joel Clifton Edwards, II, and Delores June (Arthur) Edwards-Owens.

 

Survivors include his mother: Delores June Owens, Clinton, IL; siblings: Judith Ann Holt, Waynesville, IL, Jean (Bill) Meyer, Hillsboro, IL, JoAnne Fort, Clearwater, FL, Pauline Gaultney, Clinton, IL; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews also survive.

 

Joel loved to fish, hunt and read. In his earlier years, he enjoyed racing motorcycles.
