Rosemary Clark, 80, of Mansfield, Illinois, passed away at 5:15 P.M., Friday, December 8, 2017, at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana, Illinois. 

 

Her visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. – 11:00 A.M., Monday, December 11, 2017, at the Mansfield Community Church of the Nazarene. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. James Blue officiating. Burial will follow in Mansfield Cemetery, Mansfield, Illinois. Memorial donations may be made to the Mansfield Community Church of the Nazarene.

 

Rosemary was born on March 21, 1937, in Wilmington, Illinois, to Lester and Laura S. Frost Calhoun. She married Leslie E. Clark on March 2, 1954, in Wilmington, Illinois. He passed away, December 1, 1991.

 

She is survived by her son, Neal A. (Debbie) Clark of Mansfield, Illinois; daughters, Susan B. (Cecil) King of Farmer City, Illinois, Mary Jane (Bob) Justice of Eagle Point, Oregon and Laura I. Clark of Mansfield, Illinois; eleven grandchildren; thirty-six great-grandchildren; two great- great-grandchildren; brothers, David Calhoun of Georgia, Larry Calhoun of Mahomet, Illinois, Roger (Betty) Calhoun of Braidwood, Illinois, and Gary (Brenda) Calhoun of Braidwood, Illinois; sisters, Jeanette (Elwin) White of Florida; Delores Volkert of Minot, North Dakota; Phyllis (Steve) Gaines of Florida; Gloria (Bob) Stern of Florida; and Beverly Mansfield of Bourbonnais, Illinois.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers; two sisters; a granddaughter; and three great-great-grandchildren.

 

Rosemary loved to sew. She was a member of the Mansfield Community Church of the Nazarene and Treasurer of the church for many years.

 

Rosemary was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, sister, and devoted friend who will be deeply missed.
