Mary Louella Lane 82 of Clinton, Illinois passed away 7:10 AM November 27, 2017, at Manor Court, Clinton, IL.

 

Services will be 11 AM, Thursday, November 30, 2017, at the Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, IL with J. Kent Hickerson officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, Clinton, IL. Visitation will be 10 – 11 AM Thursday at the funeral home.

 

Memorials may be directed to the Vespasian Warner Library or the DeWitt Co. Animal Shelter.

 

Mary was born December 9, 1934, in Clinton, Illinois the daughter of Virgil and Lorine (Anderson) DuPree. She married John Corwin Lane March 27, 1955, in Clinton, IL. He passed away October 2, 2002.

 

Survivors include her children, Tom Lane, Clinton, IL; and Nancy Lane, Clinton, IL; and her manpanion of 15 years, Mike Jordan, Decatur, IL.

 

She was preceded in death by her Parents and 1 Brother.

 

Mary worked at the Vespasian Warner Library.  She loved reading, golfing, and bird watching.   She also enjoyed traveling and Illini Basketball.
