Richard D. Abbott 58 of Waynesville, IL passed away 6:05 AM November 8, 2017, at his family residence, Waynesville, Il.

 

Graveside services will be 1:00 PM, Sunday, November 12, 2017, at Dudley Cemetery, Dudley, MO with Pastor A. Lynn Ash officiating.  Visitation will be 10 AM – 12 Noon, Saturday, November 11, 2017, at Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, IL with Masonic Services at 12 noon.

 

Memorials may be directed to the Richard D. Abbott Memorial Fund.

 

Richard was born April 16, 1959, in St. Louis, MO the son of William and Velma Louise (Jarrell) Abbott.  He married Pauline K. Davis March 14, 1987, in Dudley, MO.

 

Survivors include his wife, Pauline K. Abbott, Waynesville, IL; children:  Amy L. Abbott, Lincoln, IL and Kristina D.  (Devon C.) Lashbrook, Wapella, IL; grandson, Rylan C. Lashbrook;  mother, Velma Louise Abbott, Dudley, MO; sister, Vicki (Wayne) Holmes, Carrollton, GA.

 

He was preceded in death by his father.

 

Richard worked at Lincolnland, Lincoln, IL.  He was a member of the Masonic Lodge #210 AF & AM in Lincoln, IL.  Richard loved fishing, gardening, and the outdoors.
