Ramona Joan Irvin 89 of Kenney, Illinois passed away 12:28 AM November 5, 2017, at the Warner Hospital & Health Services, Clinton, IL.

 

Services will be 10:30 A.M. Wednesday, November 8, 2017, at the Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, IL with Ernie Harvey, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Park Cemetery, Clinton, IL. Visitation will be 9:30 – 10:30 AM Wednesday at the funeral home.

 

Memorials may be directed to the Kenney Christian Church or the Kenney Heritage Foundation.

 

Joan was born October 22, 1928, in rural Kenney, IL the daughter of Harold and Delta (Kemp) Ferry. When Joan was two years old her mother died and she was adopted by her great uncle and aunt, Ivon and Helen Kemp.  She married Wilbur Irvin December 25, 1951, in Kenney, IL.

 

Survivors include her husband, Wilbur Irvin, Kenney, IL; sons: Robert Irvin, Clinton, IL; Roger (Paula) Irvin, Kenney, IL; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Norman.

 

Joan was a homemaker and a member of the Kenney Christian Church.
