Carolyn Sheets, 83, of Monticello, passed away at 9:15 a.m., Friday, November 3, 2017 at her residence.

 

Carolyn was born February 11, 1934 in Joplin, MO the daughter of William Cleo and Lela Mae (DeGraffe) Brasher. She married Albert Dale Sheets on April 11, 1952 in La Jolla, CA. He passed away August 18, 1999.

 

Carolyn is survived by her sons, David E. Sheets, Bill L. (Leslie) Sheets, and Tim D. Sheets all of Monticello; 8 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and sister-in-law, Susan Sheets of Evergreen, CO. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Gary W. Sheets, 1 grandson, 2 brothers and 1 sister.

 

Carolyn was a retired Respiratory Therapist. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Monticello and she enjoyed quilting and square dancing.

 

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 11, 2017 at the Monticello Township Cemetery with Rev. Steve Ingram officiating. Mackey-Wright Funeral Home, Monticello is handling the arrangements.
