Duane Melton, 81, passed away at 6:23 a.m. on October 28, 2017, at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital.

 

Duane was born on September 9, 1936, in Lincoln, IL; son of Dale H. and LaMoyne (Fletcher) Melton. He is preceded in death by his parents.

 

Surviving Duane are his two brothers: William "Bill” (Linda) Melton and Jerry (Rosemary) Melton both of Lincoln, IL.

 

Duane was a member of the Lincoln Christian Church

 

A graveside service for Duane will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 1, 2017, at New Union Cemetery with Ron Otto officiating. Memorials may be made in Duane’s name to the American Legion Post# 263. Services entrusted to Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln, IL.
