Ruth Ann Brown 82 of Clinton, Illinois passed away 6:04 PM October 26, 2017, at the Warner Hospital & Health Services, Clinton, IL.

 

Private family services will be held at a later date. Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, Illinois assisted the family with cremation rites.

 

Memorials may be directed to the Ruth Ann Brown Memorial Fund.

 

Ruth was born September 9, 1935, in Clinton, IL the daughter of Harry Troy and Sally Frances (Crutcher) Dubson. She married Richard E. Brown August 6, 1981, in Clinton, IL.

 

Survivors include her husband: Richard E. Brown, Clinton, IL; children: Wendi Lowe, Clinton, IL; Richard Todd (Julie) Brown, Clinton, IL; Tiffany McLaughlin, Decatur, IL; Billy Jo Riggs, Clinton, IL; 9 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren; one sister: Patty (Glen) Reynolds, Clinton, IL.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents and several brothers and sisters.

 

Ruth was a member of the VFW Auxiliary. She loved to play Bingo and was a foster parent.
