Martha M. Waldron 96 of DeWitt, Illinois passed away 8:50 AM October 9, 2017, at her family residence, DeWitt, IL.

 

Services will be 11 A.M. Saturday, October 14, 2017, at the Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, IL with Rev. Jeff DeLaughter officiating. Burial will follow at DeWitt Cemetery, DeWitt, IL. Visitation will be 10 – 11 A.M. Saturday at the funeral home.

Martha was born December 4, 1920, in DeWitt, IL the daughter of Everett and Lena (Dowell) Clymer. She married Arthur “Buck” Waldron February 9, 1940, in East St. Louis, IL. He passed away September 13, 1974.

 

Survivors include her daughters: Nancy Dyer, Clinton, IL and Penny Pasqualucci, Bloomington, IL; grandchildren: Phillip Dyer, Clinton, IL, Jennifer (Ryan) Benson, Clinton, IL, Amber (Gerald) Rucker, Minot, ND and Briana (Rodney) Bolton, Rapid City, SD; 4 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents, a son: Jerry Waldron, 5 brothers, and 3 sisters.

 

Martha was a Post Master for 31 years at the DeWitt, IL Post Office. She loved flowers, gardening, quilting, and animals.
