Alma L. Hassebrock, 99, of Saybrook, Illinois, passed away at 10:55 A.M., Friday, August 25, 2017 at OSF Saint James - John W. Albrecht Medical Center, Pontiac, Illinois.

 

Her visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. – 12:00 P.M., Saturday, September 16, 2017 at Calvert-Belangee-Bruce Funeral Home, Saybrook, Illinois. The funeral service will follow at 12:00 P.M. with Pastor Jeffrey McPike officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Saybrook, Illinois. Memorials may be made to Immnauel Lutheran Church of Osman.

 

Alma was born on January 3, 1918 in Foosland, Illinois, a daughter of Christopher and Hermine ?Minnie” Beetzel Warsaw. She married Herman J. Hassebrock on October 12, 1946 in Peoria, Illinois. He passed away on March 16, 1995.

 

She is survived by her children, Barry R. (Jana) Hassebrock of Bunker Hill, Illinois and Marla D. Jones of Saybrook, Illinois, seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband; parents; four brothers; one sister; and son-in-law, Ed Jones.

 

Alma was a retired beautician. She was a member of the Immnauel Lutheran Church of Osman and the Ladies Aid of the church.
