Michael Patrick Lewis, 62, of Saybrook, Illinois, passed away at 2:19 P.M., Saturday, August 26, 2017 at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center, Bloomington, Illinois.

 

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, September 30, 2017 at the Saybrook Christian Church, Saybrook, Illinois with Pastor Stacy Landry officiating. There will be on visitation. Calvert-Belangee-Bruce Funeral Home, Saybrook, Illinois is in charge of arrangements.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Red Cross or a charity of the donor’s choice.

 

Mr. Lewis was born February 7, 1955 in Washington, D.C. to Carl Patrick and Barbara Ellen Houle Lewis Jr.

 

He is survived by his parents, Carl Patrick and Barbara Ellen Houle Lewis Jr. of Saybrook, Illinois; one brother, Cameron D. Lewis of Tracy, California; and his three favorite nephews, Brandon Smith, Tyler Lewis and Ian Lewis all of California.  He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents. 

 

Michael attended the Saybrook Christian Church, Saybrook, Illinois and was a member of the Sons of the American Legion Squadron 427, Saybrook, Illinois.
