Donna Marguerite Beck, 71, of Farmer City, Illinois passed away at 1:26 P.M., Wednesday, August 30, 2017 at Farmer City Rehabilitation and Health Care.

 

Donna was born January 3, 1946 in Pueblo, Colorado, a daughter of William “Corky” & Jessie Dyson Carkenord. She married Dan Beck July 16, 1977 in Farmer City, Illinois.

 

Survived by: Husband, Dan Beck of Farmer City; 3 Children, Rick (Kelly) Smith of Mackinaw, Illinois; Elaine (Ramon) Ceniza of Sandy Springs, Georgia; Josh (Megan) Beck of Mansfield, Illinois; 4 Grandchildren; 1 Great-grandson; 2 Sisters, Betty (Joe) Macke of Marshall, Illinois; Nancy (Shorty) Jones of Colfax, Illinois. Preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Daniel, and her step-dad, Vernon “Red” Roberts.

 

Donna had been an administrative clerk for Unitrin Insurance Company in Bloomington, Illinois. She was a long-time member of the First Christian Church of Farmer City, and a member of Down Memory Lane Doll Club. Donna was an avid doll collector, Elvis fan and Fighting Illini basketball fan.

 

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on October 21, 2017 at the First Christian Church in Farmer City.
