Barbara Ann Albin Brown

Barbara Ann Albin Brown, 78, of Foosland, Illinois, passed away Monday, July 24, 2017 at her son’s home in Edmond, Oklahoma.
 
Visitation will be from 1:00 P.M. -2:00 P.M., Saturday, August 12, 2017 at the Bellflower United Methodist Church. A memorial service will follow at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor Louella Pence officiating. Inurnment will be in Bellflower Township Cemetery, Bellflower. Memorial contributions may be made to the Bellflower United Methodist Church or the Owl Creek Rebekah Lodge #91, PO Box 41, Fisher, Illinois 61843. Calvert-Belangee-Bruce Funeral Home, Farmer City, Illinois in charge of arrangements.
 
She was born on May 2, 1939 in Bloomington, Illinois to Clifford L. and Opal N. Loveless Albin. She is survived by her son, Clyde Brown of Edmond, Oklahoma, granddaughter, Kelsey Allen of Abilene, Texas, brother, Robert (Rebecca) Albin of Bellflower, Illinois, and two nieces.
 
She was preceded in death by her parents and a nephew.
 
Barbara was a graduate of Fisher High School, Illinois Commercial College and retired from work at the University of Illinois. She was a member of the Bellflower United Methodist Church and a longtime member of the Owl Creek Rebekah Lodge #91, Fisher, Illinois, the Fisher IOOF #704 where she held many offices at the local and state levels, and the Zonar Canton and Auxiliary #18, Fisher, Illinois. Barbara loved to travel and visit new places and had the honor of placing a wreath on the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier for the Rebekah’s. She was involved in many Civic and service clubs.
