Claron Glenn Wheeler, 62, of Farmer City, Illinois, passed away at 11:18 A.M., Monday, August 7, 2017 at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center, Bloomington, Illinois.

 

He was born on November 21, 1954 in Bloomington, Illinois, to Clarence and Nellie Mae (Gandy) Wheeler. He married Shari Wisegarver on January 27, 1990 in DeLand, Illinois.

 

He is survived by his wife, Shari; son, Joshua (Leah) Wheeler; daughter, Jordan (Jonathan Dawson) Wheeler; one grandson, Maks Wheeler, with a second grandchild on the way; and two sisters, Nellie Henry of LeRoy and Shawanda Reynolds of Independence, MO, along with many nieces and nephews.

 

Claron was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Ralph Duane Davis and Retired Col. Richard N. Davis; and two sisters, LaDonna Rose Lunt and Mary Jo Davis.

 

Claron was a graduate of Farmer City schools. He worked at Bridgestone-Firestone in Bloomington for the last 22 years. Claron was happiest at home as he enjoyed working in the yard and feeding the squirrels, wood working, and spending time with family.

 

Per his wishes, there will be no visitation. A private service will take place in the future. Calvert-Belangee-Bruce Funeral Home, Farmer City, Illinois in charge of arrangements.
