William H. Bingham, 85, of Bellflower, Illinois, passed away at 3:12 P.M., August 7, 2017 at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana, Illinois.

 

A Memorial Service will be at 11:00 A.M., Friday, August 11, 2017 at Bellflower Township Cemetery, Bellflower, Illinois with Pastor Louella Pence officiating. There will be no visitation. Memorials may be made to the family. Calvert-Belangee-Bruce Funeral Home, Farmer City, Illinois in charge of arrangements.

 

William was born February 27, 1932 in Springfield, Illinois, a son of Wayne C. & Eloise Parkinson Bingham. He married Lois J. Wood, May 31, 1968 in Normal, Illinois.

 

He is survived by his wife, Lois Bingham; Children, Wayne Bingham; Janet Bingham; Joseph Bingham; and two granddaughters. William is preceded in death by his parents and brother.

 

William was a retired farmer. He was an Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict. William was an over 50 year member of the Gibson City Masonic Lodge 733 and the Bellflower American Legion Post 202.
