Danny J. Casarez, 33 of Decatur, IL passed away 7:52 A.M. July 15, 2017 at his family home in Decatur, IL.

 

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 A.M. Saturday, July 22, 2017 at St. John’s Catholic Church, Clinton, IL with celebrant Rev. Fr. James Henning. Burial will follow at Oak Park Cemetery, Clinton, IL. Visitation will be 5 – 7 P.M. Friday, July 21, 2017 at Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, IL with Rosary services at 4:30 P.M.

 

Memorials may be made to his children C/O Chelsie Casarez.

 

Danny was born April 10, 1984 in Chicago, IL the son of Segundo Cazares and Eufracia Gomez. He married Chelsie Stukins November 13, 2015 in Decatur, IL.

 

Survivors include his wife: Chelsie Casarez, Decatur, IL; children: Daeviny J. Casarez and Adrianna E.N. Casarez both at home; parents: Segundo Cazares and Eufracia Gomez, Clinton, IL; siblings: Miguel (Mandi Cox) A. Cazares, Argenta, IL, Yaritza (Jordan) Bladen, Clinton, IL, Marilyn Casarez, Clinton, IL, Ernesto Cazares, Chicago, IL; paternal grandfather: Ambrocio Cazares; nephews: Terrel Cazares, Karsyn Bladen, Drayven Bladen; nieces: Jasmyn Bladen and Aneisa Cox.

 

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather and paternal grandmother.

 

Danny was a member of the St. John’s Catholic Church and the Boiler Makers Local #158 of Peoria, IL.

 

He loved watching the Philadelphia Eagles football and loved to fish. Most of all he loved spending time with his family, especially his girls.
