Norma Jo Roth, 85, of Saybrook, Illinois passed away at 1:35 P.M., Friday, July 14, 2017 at Heritage Health, Bloomington, Illinois.

 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Colfax, Illinois with Fr. Carl LoPresti, Celebrant. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Saybrook, Illinois. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. – 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at the church. Memorials may be made to St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Colfax, Illinois. Calvert-Belangee-Bruce Funeral Home, Saybrook, Illinois in charge of arrangements.

 

Norma was born March 30, 1932 in Saybrook, Illinois, a daughter of Clair & Mildred Ryan Denny. She married Robert J. Roth September 2, 1950 in Gibson City, Illinois. He passed away November 13, 2005.

 

Survived by her children; Sue (Dennis) Bain of Saybrook, Illinois; Pam (Todd) Graham of Bloomington, Illinois; LeAnn (George) Hale of Normal, Illinois; Judy Hawthorne of Bloomington, Illinois; Timothy (Penny) Roth of Bloomington, Illinois; daughter-in-law, Connie Roth of Sibley, Illinois; 9 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 1 step-grandson; 2 step-great-grandchildren; brother, William (Delores) Denny of Mesa, Arizona; sister, Barbara (Raymond) Murrell of Gibson City, Illinois. Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert J. Roth; son, Michael Roth; infant son, Steven Roth and grandson, Bradley Hale.

 

Norma was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Colfax, Illinois. She worked for many years as a cook at the Saybrook Nursing home and Indian Springs Country Club, Saybrook, Illinois.
