Sallie Frances Simpson, 72, of Bloomington, IL passed away at 12:20 AM, July 14, 2017 at Manor Court, Clinton, IL.

 

A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.

 

Sallie was born November 25, 1944 in Clinton, IL the daughter of Troy Harold and Helen (Welch) Dubson.

 

Survivors include her two sons, Duane Thackrey, Clinton, IL and Jesse Thackrey, Rushville, IL; 6  grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren; one sister, Shirley Bateson, Clinton, IL.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers and 2 sisters.

 

Sallie was a die-hard Cubs fan.
