Sue Howe, 64, of Mansfield, Illinois, passed away at 7:14 A.M., Friday, July 7, 2017 at her residence.

 

Her funeral service will be at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at the Mansfield United Methodist Church, Mansfield, Illinois with Pastor Ed Davis officiating. Burial will be in Mansfield Cemetery, Mansfield, Illinois. Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. – 7:00 P.M., Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at the Mansfield United Methodist Church, Mansfield, Illinois and from 10:00 A.M. – 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at the church. Memorials may be made to the Mansfield United Methodist Church, Mansfield, Illinois or Northern Piatt Fire Protection District, Mansfield, Illinois. Calvert-Belangee-Bruce Funeral Home, Mansfield, Illinois in charge of arrangements.

 

Sue was born June 20, 1953 in Champaign, Illinois, a daughter of Robert C. & Geneva L. Martin Huchel. She married George Howe on June 26, 1983 in Mansfield, Illinois.

 

Survived by her husband, George Howe of Mansfield, IL; son, Dave Kirby of Mansfield, IL; two stepsons, Jeffrey (Eileen) Howe of Lincolnshire, IL and Brian (Gina) Howe of Lewis Center, Ohio; two grandchildren, Kaleigh Kirby and Ryken Kirby; seven step-grandchildren; one step-great-granddaughter; two brothers, Gerald (Malou) Huchel of Albuquerque, NM and Billy (Sue) Huchel of Mansfield, IL; one sister, Penny Shonkwiler of Champaign, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Jimmy Huchel and Michael Huchel.

 

Sue was a retired LPN. She was a member of the Mansfield United Methodist Church and had been a trustee for the Mansfield Library.
