Melissa S. Cler 30 of DeLand, Illinois passed away 6:20 PM June 30, 2017 at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana, Il.

 

Celebration of Her Life will be 11:30 AM, Friday, July 7, 2017 at the Lodge Church of God, Lodge, IL..  There will be a time of gathering for friends and family from 10 AM – 11:30 AM at the church.  Calvert Funeral Home, DeLand, IL is in charge of arrangements.

 

Memorials may be directed to the Melissa Cler Cancer Benefit.

 

Melissa was born July 14, 1986 in Champaign, IL the daughter of Max E. and Lori M. (Duncan) Neathery.. She married Garret Cler September 18, 2010 in Monticello, IL.

 

Survivors include her husband, Garret Cler, DeLand, IL; children, Hadley Cler and Maddox Cler at home; parents, Max and Lori Neathery, DeLand, IL; siblings, Libby Neathery, Pesotum, IL and Caleb Neathery, DeLand, IL.

 

She was preceded in death by her Grandparents, 1 Son, Carson Phillip Cler and 1 Brother, Andrew “Andy” Keith Neathery.

 

Melissa was a Nurse at Carle Foundtion Hospital for 10 years.  She was an avid Cubs fan.  Most of all, she loved her family – especially her children.
