Nancy L. Bidner, 72, of Bellflower, IL, passed away at 4:48 A.M., Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at Advocate BroMenn Regional Medical Center, Normal, IL.

 

Funeral Service will be 3:00 P.M., Sunday, April 9, 2017 at Calvert-Belangee-Bruce Funeral Home, Farmer City, IL with Dr. Lonnie S. Southern and Pastor Louella Pence officiating. Burial will be in Bellflower Township Cemetery, Bellflower, IL. Visitation will be from 1:00 P.M. – 3:00 P.M., Sunday, April 9, 2017 at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Bellflower Christian Church.

 

Nancy was born April 25, 1944 in Bellflower, IL, a daughter of George Mason and Evelyn Stockwell Welch. She married Clifford Carden in 1964. She later married Lee Bidner on July 29, 2000 in Bellflower, IL.

 

She is survived by her husband, Lee Bidner of Bellflower, IL; son, Clint (Heather) Carden of Syracuse, IN; three step-daughters, Jennifer (Joe) Buck of Champaign, IL; Barbara Bidner of Bloomington, IL; Anita (Bob) Messier of Fork Union, VA; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; eight step-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; six brothers, Larry (Karen) Welch of Mansfield, IL; Rick (Sandra) Bradbury of Cisne, IL; Gary (Debbie) Bradbury of Utica, IL; Bruce Bradbury of Dana, IL; Brian (Linda) Bradbury of Dana, IL; Dan (Jamie) Bradbury of Streator, IL; brother-in-law, Oliver Bidner of Meadows, IL; sister-in-law, Erma (Marion) Giertz of Bellflower, IL. Preceded in death by her parents; children, Jeff Carden; Clifford Carden; Michelle Carden; Carla Carden; siblings, Sally Jones; Don Welch; Stan Welch; Elaine Vance; Judy Johnson; and one great-granddaughter.

 

Nancy was a member of the Bellflower Christian Church. She greatly enjoyed all of her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren. Nancy was an avid Chicago Cubs fan, enjoyed the great outdoors, flowers, and mowing her lawn.
