Dale Warren

Dale D. Warren, 86, of Farmer City passed away at 12:25 A.M., Sunday, March 5, 2017 at Farmer City Rehabilitation and Health Care.
 
Funeral service will be 11 A.M., Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at Calvert-Belangee-Bruce Funeral Home, Farmer City with Rev. Bob Beckman officiating. Burial will be in McCord Cemetery, Fullerton, IL with military rites accorded. Visitation will be from 10-11 A.M. also at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the First Christian Church of Farmer City or Fred G. O’Malley V.F.W. Post 6190 Farmer City.
 
Dale was born March 15, 1930 in Bloomington, IL, a son of Wilby C. and Lyla Neal Warren. He married Juanita Marshall on September 3, 1948 in Fairfield, IL.
 
Survived by his wife, Juanita of Farmer City, IL; daughter, Anita (Gene) Lewis of Mahomet, IL; three grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and one on the way.
 
He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Norman Warren.
 
Dale was a retired farmer, truck driver and school bus driver for Blue Ridge School District #18. He was an Air Force Veteran of the Korean Conflict. Dale was a member of the Prairie Chapel United Methodist Church. He attended the First Christian Church of Farmer City. He was a life member of the Joe Williams American Legion Post 55, Farmer City and a past Commander. Dale was a life member of the Fred G. O’Malley V.F.W. Post 6190, Farmer City.
