William Sinkosky

William Stanley Sinkosky 84 of Maroa, IL passed away 6:15 PM March 2, 2017 at Farmer City Rehab & Health Care, Farmer City, Il.
 
Services will be 10 AM, Monday, March 6, 2017 at Calvert Funeral Home, Maroa, Il. with Pastor Nic Showalter officiating. Burial will follow at Maroa Cemetery, Maroa, IL with Military Honors. Visitation will be 4 - 6 PM, Sunday, March 5, 2017 at  Calvert Funeral Home, Maroa, IL.
 
Memorials may be directed to the Farmer City Rehab & Health Care, Farmer City, IL.
 
William was born February 18, 1933 in Springfield, IL the son of William S. and Vernetta E. (Deatherage) Sinkosky. He married Ellen Marie Agee January 16, 1953 in Argenta, IL. She passed away November 26, 2013.
 
Survivors include his children, Tony Sinkosky, Monticello, Il.; Tim
(Cindy) Sinkosky, Maroa, Il.; Tamara (Kevin) Ripley, Argenta, Il.; 7
Grandchildren, Cara (Chris) Doak, Lisa (Blake) Doss, Michael Ripley,
Bradley Ripley, Laura Ripley, Antanas Sinkosky and Maximus Sinkosky; 2
Great-Grandchildren, Brady Doss & Drake Doss; and one great-granddaughter
on the way.
 
He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Connie Casey; and one
daughter-in-law, Rhonda Killian Sinkosky.
 
William served in the US Army from 1953-1955.  He was a farmer and
building and repair contractor.
 
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Farmer
City Rehab & Health Care and to Compassus Hospice for their loving care of
our Dad.
