Joyce Ann Miller, 71, of Farmer City, IL, passed away at 9:29 A.M., Monday, February 27, 2017 at her daughter’s home in Farmer City, IL.

 

There will be no services. Inurnment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, LeRoy, IL at a later date. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Calvert-Belangee-Bruce Funeral Home, Farmer City in charge of arrangements.

 

Joyce was born January 23, 1946 in St. Charles, Mo., a daughter of Raymond Edward and Gladys Emile Schell Hayes. She married Larry Miller on January 27, 1962 in Farmer City, IL. He passed away October 4, 1976.

 

She is survived by her children, Rhonda (Michael) Brandt of Farmer City, IL, Jaime (Michael) Smith of Farmer City, IL and Larry E. Miller of Farmer City, IL; four Grandchildren, Michael (Shelby) Brandt; Anthony (Keisha) Smith; Jamison Brandt; McKenna Miller; three Great-grandchildren, Eva Smith, Luna Smith and Haven Anderson; Siblings, Jack (Gloria) Hayes of DePue, IL; Joanne Folder of Mt. Dora, FL; Marilyn (Bob) Wooldridge of Bluffton, IN; Bobby Hayes of Hamilton, IA; and Georgie Hayes of DePue, IL. Preceded in death by her parents, one grandson, two brothers, Ray Hayes and Donny Hayes.

 

Joyce worked as a custodian at Blue Ridge High School, Farmer City, IL. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Farmer City, IL. She loved gardening, sewing and especially her family.
