Erma Irene Holderly, 92, of Farmer City, Illinois passed away at 6:45 P.M., Sunday, February 19, 2017 at Farmer City Rehabilitation and Health Care.

 

Funeral service will be at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, February 23, 2017 at Calvert-Belangee-Bruce Funeral Home, Farmer City, Illinois with Pastor Jeremiah Thompson officiating. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Farmer City, Illinois. Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. – 7:00 P.M., Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Erma I. Holderly memorial fund c/o First Farmers State Bank, 101 S. Main St., Minier, Illinois 61759 to be used for something at the Farmer City Rehabilitation and Health Care.

 

Erma was born September 11, 1924 at Colfax, Illinois, a daughter of Oscar P. & Irene Sweet Morefield. She married Harvey Kenneth Holderly February 12, 1950 in Colfax, Illinois. He passed away July 9, 2011.

 

Survived by her children, Karen (Mark) Harvey of Ellsworth, IL; Alan (Clarice) Holderly of Arrowsmith, IL; Don Holderly of Farmer City, IL; 8 Grandchildren, Kevin (Jennifer) Lambert; Wesley Harvey; Dylan Harvey; Christopher Holderly; Alex Holderly; Matthew Holderly; Christina Holderly; Emily Rauschenberger; 5 Great-grandchildren; Brother, Floyd (Carol) Morefield of Bloomington, IL; Sister, Ellen (Don) Runge of Waynesville, IL; Sister-in-law, Donna Morefield of Bloomington, IL.

 

Preceded in death by her parents, and brother, Bob Morefield.

 

Erma was a member of the First Christian Church, Farmer City, IL.
