Ralph Dean Holland 73 of Heyworth, IL passed away 2:38 AM January 30, 2017 at Advocate BroMenn Regional Medical Center, Normal, IL.

 

Private family graveside services will be held at Sugar Grove Cemetery, Wapella, IL with military honors. Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, IL is in charge of arrangements.

 

Ralph was born May 15, 1943 in Wapella, IL the son of Paul and Martha (Collins) Holland.  He married Karen Lea Willis on August 12, 1967.  They were married for 21 years.

 

Survivors include his son: Brian (Jill) Holland, Heyworth, IL; three grandchildren: Matthew, Ben and Anna Holland; siblings: Betty Ellis, Clinton, IL, Ronnie (Joyce) Holland, Maroa, IL, and Kathy (Vernon) Meadows, Wapella, IL.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers: William Richard and John Wesley Holland and one sister: Beverly Ann Kraft.

 

Ralph was a 1961 graduate of Wapella High School. He was a U.S. Army veteran. After working for Holland Brothers Plumbing and Heating until 1996, he started Ralph Holland Plumbing Inc. in Heyworth, IL with his son and worked until present day.
