Ruth Vandiver 81 of Clinton, Illinois passed away 3:35 PM January 29, 2017 at Manor Court, Clinton, IL.

 

Services will be 11 A.M. Thursday, February 2, 2017 at the Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, IL with J. Kent Hickerson officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Park Cemetery, Clinton, IL. Visitation will be 9:30 – 11 A.M. Thursday at the funeral home.

 

Memorials may be directed to Alzheimer’s Association.

 

Ruth was born June 20, 1935 in Macomb, IL the daughter of Hallie and Margaret (Drake) Reeves. She married Max E. Vandiver June 5, 1955, in Brooklyn, IL.

 

Survivors include her husband: Max E. Vandiver, Clinton, IL; children: Paul (Lisa) Vandiver, LaCygne, KS, Susan (Larry) Duling, Clinton, IL, Steve (Mary) Vandiver, Heyworth, IL, Phil Vandiver, Bloomington, IL; 9 grandchildren: Barbara, Michael, Bryan, Colin, Abby, Maggie, Molly, Lucy and Liam.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother.

 

Ruth enjoyed cooking and quilting.
