Craig “Huggy” Bryan, 47, of Heyworth, passed away Wednesday (Jan. 11, 2017), at his home, surrounded by his family.

 

Craig was born May 15, 1969, the son of Dan and Letha Bryan. He married Melissa Merritt on Nov. 8, 2006, in Clinton. She survives.

 

Also surviving are their children, George Bryan and LeeAnn, Mark and Sara Merritt; his mother, Letha Bryan; brothers, Bruce (Vickie) Bryan and Jeff Bryan; three grandchildren, and one on the way. He was preceded in death by his father, Dan Bryan.

 

Huggy was known for his hard work ethic. Huggy drove a truck for many years until he started working for Randolph Agriculture Services.

 

The family would like to thank the many friends and family who helped take care of Huggy in this trying time and for all their thoughts and prayers. The family would like to thank the doctors who took care of him.

 

Cremation has been accorded; there will be a celebration of life at 4 p.m. Jan. 28, 2017, at Circle II Bar & Grill, Heyworth. Memorial contributions may be made to the Illinois Cancer Care Center for brain cancer research.
