Robert W. “Bob” Westen, 81, of Mt. Pulaski, passed away at 7:20 A.M. Thursday January 12, 2017 at his residence.

 

Bob was born on August 2, 1935 in Logan County, IL, the son of Harm and Louise (Sams) Westen. He married Donna Allison on December 17, 1954 in Latham, IL.

 

Bob is survived by his wife Donna, his children Kim (Doug) Chandler, Kristy Westen, Casey (Stephanie) Westen, “adoptive son” Bruce (Sue) Lamb, his brother Roger “Butch” (Judy) Westen, his four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

 

He was preceded in death by his sons Terry and Randy Westen.

 

Bob was a retired farmer and Lake Fork Township Road Commissioner for many years. Bob was very active in the Show Cattle Circuit.

 

Services for Bob will be at 6:00 P.M. Monday January 16, 2017 at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Mt. Pulaski. Visitation will be two hours prior to services from 4:00-6:00 P.M. Memorials may be made in Bob’s name to the Logan County 4H.
